This high-quality steel gate hinge M16 with weld-on tab is ideal for the secure fixing of steel, yard and industrial gates. The 2-way adjustable design of the gate hinge allows the gate leaf to be aligned precisely. The complete set comprises an electro-galvanised eye bolt, clevis pin, screws, nuts and washers, enabling quick and sturdy installation.

Possible load capacities (guide value with 2 gate hinges per gate leaf)

The permissible gate load depends on the gate width and the installation situation. For a gate width of approx. 1,000 mm the following guide value applies:

• M16 – up to approx. 200 kg per gate leaf

Note: With narrower gates (e.g. 500 mm) higher loads are possible; with wide gates (e.g. 2,000 mm) the permissible load capacity reduces accordingly. We are happy to advise you on the right dimension.

Special notes

• Load capacity figures apply when using 2 gate hinges per gate leaf
• Take into account additional loads from wind, door closers or wide gates
• For heavy or wide gates we recommend stronger hinge dimensions or the use of 3 gate hinges
