Beurskens Pro-Lock Rim Lock – 30 mm wide, 60 mm backset

The Beurskens Pro-Lock rim lock was developed specifically for professional door and gate constructions in metalwork. The 30 mm wide lock case in untreated steel welds well and can then be further processed or coated together with the construction.

The lock housing and the most heavily stressed components such as the faceplate, latch and bolt are made of stainless steel 1.4301 (V2A). This well-conceived combination of materials unites the good workability of an untreated steel case with the durability of stainless steel within the lock mechanism.

Tested for lasting professional use

The rim lock was tested through 200,000 opening and closing cycles and passed without any loss of function. This makes it designed for long-term use in regularly stressed doors and gates.

High-quality spring technology for a long service life

The lock mechanism uses a cylindrical compression spring instead of a simple flat sheet spring. It provides an even distribution of force when operating the latch and reduces localised loads within the mechanism. This supports a reliable return of the latch and increases the durability of the lock.

Processing note: The untreated steel case has no permanent corrosion protection. After welding and machining, the surface should be properly coated or otherwise protected against corrosion in accordance with the intended application.
