Beurskens Pro-Lock Rim Lock – 40 mm wide, 60 mm backset

The Beurskens Pro-Lock rim lock was developed specifically for professional door and gate constructions in metalwork. The design with a case width of 40 mm and a backset of 60 mm is particularly suited to correspondingly deep metalwork constructions.

The robust lock case is made from steel S235. The lock housing and the most heavily stressed components such as the faceplate, latch and bolt are made from stainless steel 1.4301 (V2A). This combination of materials pairs high mechanical strength with a reliable and durable locking function.

Tested for lasting professional use

The rim lock was tested over 200,000 opening and closing cycles and passed without any loss of function. This makes it designed for long-term use in regularly operated doors and gates.

High-quality spring technology for a long service life

The lock mechanism uses a cylindrical compression spring instead of a simple flat sheet-metal spring. It provides even distribution of force when actuating the latch and reduces localised stress within the mechanism. This supports reliable return of the latch and increases the durability of the lock.
