Beurskens Pro-Lock Rim Lock – 50 mm wide, 60 mm backset

The Beurskens Pro-Lock rim lock has been developed specifically for professional door and gate constructions in metalwork. The version with a box width of 50 mm and a backset of 60 mm is particularly suitable for correspondingly dimensioned and deep metalwork constructions.

The robust lock box is made of steel S235. The lock housing and the most heavily loaded components such as the faceplate, latch and bolt are made of stainless steel 1.4301 (V2A). This material combination combines high mechanical load capacity with reliable and durable lock function.

Tested for lasting professional use

The rim lock was tested with 200,000 opening and closing cycles and passed the test without any loss of function. This makes it designed for long-term use in regularly used doors and gates.

High-quality spring technology for a long service life

The lock mechanism uses a cylindrical compression spring instead of a simple flat sheet spring. It allows an even distribution of force when operating the latch and reduces localised loading within the mechanism. This supports reliable resetting of the latch and increases the durability of the lock.
