This high-quality steel gate hinge with weld-on tab is ideal for securely mounting steel, yard and industrial gates. The 2-way adjustable function allows the gate to be aligned precisely. The complete set comprises a galvanised eye bolt, clevis pin, screws, nuts and washers, enabling quick and stable installation.

Possible load capacities (guide values for 2 hinges per gate leaf)

The permissible gate load depends on the hinge size and the gate width. The following are typical guide values for a gate width of approx. 1,000 mm:

• M12 – up to approx. 100 kg per gate leaf
• M16 – up to approx. 200 kg per gate leaf
• M20 – up to approx. 400 kg per gate leaf
• M24 – up to approx. 450 kg per gate leaf

Note: Narrower gates (e.g. 500 mm) can carry higher loads, while wide gates (e.g. 2,000 mm) reduce the permissible load capacity accordingly. We are happy to advise you on the right dimensions.

Special notes

• Load capacity figures apply when using 2 hinges per gate leaf
• Allow for additional loads from wind, door closers or wide gates
• For heavy or wide gates we recommend larger hinge dimensions or 3 hinges
