It is necessary to provide a valid e-mail address so that we know who sent the request and can answer it. Further information can be provided voluntarily. Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent. We delete the data arising in this context after storage is no longer required, or restrict processing if there are statutory retention obligations.  § 7 Use of our online shop 

Our online store is aimed exclusively at specialist tradespeople from the metal, wood and glass construction sectors. Private end users and inquiries from tradespeople from other trades can purchase our products from retailers or specialist trades. To ensure that only specialist tradesmen order from us, prior customer registration is required. You can register for the online store via our website. To do so, you must provide us with certain data (company name, address, contact details, etc.). Necessary mandatory information is marked separately, further information is voluntary. After successful verification, a customer account will be created for you and you will receive your access data by e-mail. The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. The data relating to your customer account will be stored until revoked. We process the data you provide when placing an order to process your order. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR. Depending on the payment option selected by you when placing the order, we pass on inventory data (e.g. name and address), bank data (e.g. IBAN or credit card number, passwords, TANs and checksums) as well as contract data and recipient-related information to the credit institution commissioned to process the payment and, if applicable, to the payment service provider commissioned by us. We also pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery. This is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract and is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR Due to commercial and tax law requirements, we are obliged to store your address, payment and order data for a period of ten years. However, we restrict processing after two years, i.e. your data will only be used to comply with legal obligations. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR.

 § 8 Use of WhatsApp Business 

Customers can contact us via the WhatsApp messaging service, e.g. for inquiries or orders. If you contact us for general inquiries outside of a specific order, the data you provide (your cell phone number, your name, your message and any other information) will be stored by us in order to answer your inquiry. The data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the efficient and timely provision of the requested information. We delete the data collected in this context after storage is no longer required, or restrict processing if there are statutory retention obligations. In this case, Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR is the legal basis. If you place an order via WhatsApp or send us inquiries about a specific order, we will process your data to process your order or inquiry. WhatsApp automatically receives access to the address book of the cell phone we use. The telephone numbers stored in it are automatically transferred to WhatsApp and from there to other companies in the Facebook group. WhatsApp also carries out measurements and analyses in order to improve WhatsApp services. For the use of WhatsApp, we use a cell phone in which only the contacts of users who have contacted us via WhatsApp are stored.  § 9 Data security 

When you visit our website, we use the widely used SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. As a rule, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed padlock symbol in your browser's address bar. We also use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties.
